I watch 90% of my anime with my anime society now, last thing we watched was Kamisama Dolls, which was... interesting? It had some parts that were really good, and others that were really bad. Second half of the series went down a bit, assuming 'cause it didn't follow the manga. I will watch the season two though.
I only really watch completed anime too, but I am following the Persona 4 anime, I know the plot anyway.
Eeer... without society the last anime I watched was Mawaru Penguindrum. Utena is my favourite anime so of course I loved this too. It was obviously influenced by Utena, and the Rose of Versailles influences were abound too. It was amazing. ♥

I started Anohana and am now on Episode 8. It's pretty awesome so far, a really fun - albeit sad - summer anime.

Haven't watched anime in a while, but I decided to watch season 4 of Zero no Tsukaima finally. I loved it. I started watching that series for the Louise x Saito moments, and this season was FULL of them. Reminded me a lot of season 2. Although ZnT's plot is generally awful (this season being no exception), I just can't get enough of those two...despite the fact that their moments are ruined all too often by my least favorite anime character in all my history of watching anime: Siesta >.>

Currently watching Sword Art Online Totally on a whim, though, as the only reason I decided to give it a go was because LiSA was singing the theme song xD It's pretty great so far, but not the best thing I've seen recently. It does a lot of things right (like the scenery porn! So gorgeous!). The overall concept is really, really interesting, but I almost feel like it isn't addressed as much as it should be. There's so much they could do with it, but at times the storylines just spiral off into typical anime affairs. I still have high-ish hopes for it though, so I'm sticking with it.

I'm in the last 10 episodes of Monster, and it's taken me a while, but it's easily one of THE BEST anime I have ever seen.
The characters are really great, some characters who have only been in one episode have been better developed and way more three dimensional than some characters over an entire series.
I love Dr. Reichwein, he's sooooo badass. The villains (although the series isn't so black and white)... ugh I HATE some of them so much, but it's that kind of hate where you love them as a character because they're such great characters.

I'm currently inching towards the ends of both Little Busters! and Negima?! (which I started back in 2007 and never got around to finishing). Does anyone have any recommendations for summer anime? I watched AnoHana last year and loved it, and I'm probably going to watch Ano Natsu de Matteru this summer.

Rozen Maiden 2013 (even though I've never watched the first one or Traumend), Free (*_____*), Genei wo Kakeru Taiyo (reminds A LOT of Madoka Magica) and Danganronpa (pure epic, I like killing xD).

^ ^ I'm not all that keen on Free!, from what I've seen so far :XD But maybe after it's completed and the dust has settled a bit? Hmm, I dunno. I'm also watching Danganronpa! It's really addictive. And, as I mentioned a few posts earlier, I did indeed get around to starting Ano Natsu de Matteru I'm on Episode 7!

I started watching Free! as a bit of a joke with friends and now I am hooked D:
I'm trying to get through Now and Then, Here and There, but I don't think I've ever watched an anime so depressing. The animation is awful, but the writing, characterisation and atmosphere are so on point.

I'm about halfway through Hourou Musuko now. I only just realized (and only after checking the Wikipedia page) that Nana has a role in it! It's a supporting role, but it's still cool - and I could not tell it was her at all, haha.
The anime itself is really interesting. Transgender/transsexual characters are so rare in Japanese pop culture unless they're used for the sake of comedy or just... there, but their identity as a trans person is never acknowledged. Which is... progressive, I guess, but rather unhelpful. To have an entire anime surrounding such characters - and in a way that takes them seriously - was too interesting not to watch. I'm enjoying it so far.

^ It's actually really compelling! It's refreshing to see transgendered characters that aren't fetishized or made a joke of. The rest of the cast is plenty interesting too, and it's a very relatable anime regardless of your sexuality/sexual identity. Very cute, too
