Those lyrics were from Weird Al's parody song Foil.

Enjoy my little gift to the board this holiday season...(unofficial) Eden lyrics/translation! Thanks to this site for coming up with the Kanji: kiramekubiuenm7.blog.fc2.com/Because everything is unofficial, and I have yet to hear the full song (only 15 seconds), it is likely not 100% correct. Please let me know of mistakes and I will fix it.

Please let me know of mistakes and I will fix it. Just a few things The romaji of the first half of the last chorus of eden has 願った as Negat e instead of Negat ta, Also, you are right about Katte na omoi ---... I think she might actually be a ra sound kind of like ka-ra-te na...instead of just a katte And Finally, it is in fact shiawase wa nozomu hodo, which makes sense if "望む" is actually "臨む"... though i think the translation would be a little weirder like that xD

Ahaha I don't know how I made that first mistake...I thought I copied the chorus...whoops! Thanks for catching that! edit: lol I figured out how it happened! It autocorrected "negatta" to "negate" on my local computer where I typed it xD I need to google how to turn that off on pages because it's super annoying. I also hear the "ra"...but I'm not sure it's "karate" and can't come up with a good alternative. Karate can also mean empty handed (what it literally means), but I haven't seen it that often before. So I guess we'll wait and see for that one! I'll change to 臨む! That can mean like overlooking...like 城臨む山 means "a mountain facing/overlooking a castle". 2nd Edit: I went back and re-translated those two lines and am VERY happy with the result! Thanks again check to see if looks right!

Wahh, is Lazy Syndrome possibly an ironic outlook on otaku culture and society in general?

^ Haha, I thought the role-playing line was oddly specific!

Whoa, interesting lyrics. Seems like a kind of commentary on escapism through digital media... which is definitely a thing in Japan, haha. Fitting that a seiyuu is singing about it!

Braclet is translated! I am happy with the translation, my Japanese has improved a lot over the few months, but there are a few lines where I didn't know the meaning right away and so I need to think about it.
Please let me know if there are typos...there probably are one or two!

Yeah sorry it will be fixed! It's first draft and I'm still learning Japanese (I am JLPT 3 level studying for JLPT 2) so it needs editing, but thought people would be interested still. I'll fix grammar mistakes and make it flow better later. I think your summary of the song sounds like a great guess! Oh, so handcuff is friendship...
