I must say, I'm really impressed this time around. Good job. It's on par with the Synchrogazer cover which imo was the best out of the two.

First impression: The opening was I think, suppose to be powerful, but it's not powerful enough for my ears. Though I think that's fine for now.
Not a big fan of songs with a key signature change between the bridges and chorus, and that goes for this one. The bridge feels lacking, which is common for most anisongs in general. The chorus... well, it feels really anisong, I guess, for lack of a better term. However, I don't think it's as powerful as the first impression of Kindan's chorus which did well for me. Surprisingly, the song got a lot better in the end, and overall I'm pretty sure this is something that will grow on me after lots of listens.
Guess I'll purchase this single after all. It's not bad, but well... it's not really that good either.

Yeah my first impression is better than the one for Vitalization !! I find the verses and the chorus more catchy but at the same time there is some sort of melancholy in the melody and in the way she sings ! This time it's more orchestral a kind of Synchrogazer meeting Avaron no Oukan. When you listen to it you know it's from Symphogear but each songs has a particularity ... I like it =)

Overall, I like it. The intro could have been better, and so could he chorus but I loved the verses and the instrumentation in general. I liked the bridge. In general, I was expecting the song to keep that dark guitar instrumental edge that came in after the intro, but it immediately got lighter afterwards :/ I think the fact that nana is not so touched up on the single cover makes sense with how the vocals are less processed than on Vit/Sync tbh too.
Can't wait to hear this in 320kbps and hopefully this is the last single before an album, and not a best of, lol.
Vitalization/Synchrogazer both were huge growers to me. I hope this will be as well.

I also think that the intro could have been better less balladish and more powerfull but I prefer how the composition is made if I remember well I was quite dubitative in regard to how the verse turn out between 00:57 & 1:10 and it took time before I appreciate the song in a whole but this time it's more like synchrogazer an instant love and out of the three EXTERMINATION is the richest in regard to the arrangements etc... but it's sad we don't get an high note this time lol

I'm not a huge fan based on first listen. The song is pretty messy and the arrangement doesn't help. I also don't like how it sounds really happy and poppy at some points (1:00 mainly) and then sad/angry at others. I do like the chorus. I also like the beginning of the song too. I wouldn't call this having more of an orchestral arrangement or compare it to Avalon no Oukan. That one had a full orchestra. This one seems to have violins (?? can't tell it is too LQ), but that's typical of E.G. arrangements. Why do you think it sounds more Orchestral than say, Eternal Blaze or Kindan no Resistance or its sister song Vitalization, Tokyo88?
I think I'll like it more once the better quality version is out.

Well... it certainly is a Symphogear song!
I like it... tentatively. But it does feel a little messy. Every time I think I like where the melody is going it does something else. The fact that the song is slower and less electro-sounding than its brethren makes it seem a bit more dramatic, which is cool.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I like it. Now it just remains to be seen whether I'll like it enough/it'll grow on me enough to actually listen to it regularly. I remember saying the same thing about KnR and I barely give that song the time of day now xD;
Sometimes I wonder if my opinion on these Symphogear songs would be totally reversed if they had come out in a different order. If Exterminate had come before Synchrogazer and Vitalization (therefore giving us less to compare it to), I have a feeling the reception might have been more positive...? Then again, maybe not!

I know I'm not Tokyo88, but I also agreed in that I think the actual composition and orchestration is done in a more "orchestral" manner. In fact, the brass that stands out are one of the highlights of the song imo. It adds a lot of drama to the song. I think Vitalization and Synchrogazer, while also a bit orchestral, were a lot more electronic. This song has already grown on me immensely after a few listens. The "post" chorus reminds me a bit of LINKAGE in a way too.

^ I can't speak for anyone else, but I didn't mean 'messy' to mean low-quality or grainy, just that the song is doing a lot of little, different things that don't always flow well into each other. I have no doubt that it'll be less "noisy" in HQ. After a few listens, this song has grown on me absurdly quickly! I agree with sevenpetals that the brass is used really dramatically, and it gives the song an interesting militaristic sound that I really like it. Please let the PV have more of Nana in army-esque outfits Also, nice to see ya again, hotorikun!

The cover is so pretty <3
I like it, but I can't help comparing it....! It does feel like it's own song though, Vitalization did really feel like Synchro part II. I guess that's the problem when you end up with a series like Nana has here though. I really like the intro though, I don't think it needed to be more powerful. It fits with the overall feel of the song I think.
It does feel a bit busy in places, but we'll wait to see if that's the radio or the song. I felt Eden suffered from the same in a few places though so, we'll see.

It seems that the people behind doing the arrangement would most probably be the cause of it. They have many things going on at the same time and at times, those songs feel like a wall of sound. If they can sort those out, a lot those songs are actually very nice in it's melody. Not sure why they want to cram so many things in.
