The one at MUSIC JAPAN was better but I prefer her energy at MUSIC STATION ^^ Well I'm a little disappointed that the sales are a bit lower than Angel Blossom but at the same time she is really stable and Angel Blossom benefited from Kings Record SUPER LIVE which attracted 60,000 people ... I'm pretty sure in long run the sales will be higher than Angel Blossom =)
I'm happy that she got the 3rd position it was an uphill battle XD
What is more impressive are her estimated sales in digital format !! Her best ever !! (without counting PR/KD with TMR)

Third place weekly isn't too bad. Yep... declining sales. Probably can't be stopped now.
Tho based on these numbers, I'm guessing she sold around 14k the first day. Just a guess though.

Remember that Angel Blossom had 3 editions too, so it's great that they basically sold almost the same (I still think Exterminate will outsell it in the long run).
Basically all the singles sold the same amount first week, so the huge drop from Bright Stream -> Vitalization -> Kindan seems to be over for now. It's very possible that huge drop is just because of time between each of the singles (nearly a year or so), but Kindan and Exterminate are nearly a year apart and basically same sales so that's a good sign.

Yes Nana has the luck to have a really solid and loyal fanbase compared to other anime singers which sell well according to the popularity of the anime for which they sing, Nana is always constant with her sales (by taking into account the ups and downs in her career) as an example look at the last 4 Nana singles :
-Kindan Resistance: 60 514 -Eden: 60 564 -Angel Blossom: 51 662 -Exterminate: 50 000/60 000 (I assume)
and now some of her competitors
LISA : -君の銀の庭:60 922 -heavenly blue : 18 704 -believe: 27 722
Aoi Eir : -IGNITE: 40 224 -ツナガルオモイ: 5599 -GENESIS: 10 836 -ラピスラズリ: 29 288
CLARIS: -カラフル: 73 870 -CLICK: 36 910 -STEP: 26 336 -border: 21 097
Compared to Nana they are really inconstant ...

That's a good point. I think the first one you mentioned is Kalafina, not LiSA, based on the song titles, but LiSA is definitely a good example too. You're right, they rely on the anime for popularity. They also do something Nana doesn't do: anime edition. Those help a LOT (you'll see in soundscan that anime edition accounts for 50-70% of their sales usually, which is a little sad...).
Similarly, their albums do okay, but not nearly as well as the hit singles do. They don't have that solid fanbase that Nana does.

2nd week for Exterminate on Oricon: #12: 7248
Best 2nd week sales since Vitalization! Angel Blossom only did about 5000, so that's a good sign for Exterminate!

Okay let's do it!
1. Exterminate Well then. That a cappella opening--she hasn't done that since "Trickster" has she? Well it's incredible, and it really helps set this song apart from the other two Symphogear singles. Upon first listen, I remember saying this song felt compartmentalized--that it was difficult to tell when the chorus was going to start as I went through the verses. That feeling has since gone away as I've become more familiar withit, which is what I expected to happen. Although this song is rather formulaic, standard anison, it's got the right kind of epic Nana charm to keep me listening. Those trumpets are very much appreciated, and while I wouldn't compare it to "Avalaon no Oukan," it's definitely not "Synchrogazer" part three as may have been expected from being a Symphogear song. I thought "Vitalization" was more of a follow-up song when it came out (its music video didn't do much to differentiate it from its predecessor either), but "Exterminate" feels entirely different, as if it could have been the opening of a completely different anime. I really can't find anything critical to say about "Exterminate" because it's just that perfect, classic Nana anison that will never get old because it has just enough experimental elements to keep it looming high above other songs in its genre. Her vocals are especially impressive, but then again, when are they not? I can tell this song is going to have just as much longevity as songs like "Synchrogzer" and "SCARLET KNIGHT," and it really got me excited for her releases to come. A+ as usual.
2. Bramble At first I thought this song was like "Shuumatsu no Love Song," but having been able to listen to it much more, I'd compare it more to "Risouron" mixed with your choice of Dog Days song. I'm really happy with this because paired up against "Exterminate" it feels like a great fit for the single. The bridge is particularly interesting--exotic even--and it sets the song apart from other B-sides like it. Again, it begins with a prominent vocal before opening up into an instrumental, which was really nice despite not providing the goosebumps that the A-side gave. Really though, that bridge. That bridge. I don't know if I've ever enjoyed a Nana song's bridge more than this one. Another win. I was really impressed with "Bramble" upon first listen, and it's not one I've dropped from my usual rotation.
3. It's Only Brave To be honest, upon first listen I thought "It's Only Brave" was a little boring--like it was the obligatory generic pop-rock song that makes every album. That's not to say I didn't like it. It just didn't have the same kind of unique elements that the other two songs did.
WELP.
My first impression was really off. When it comes to Nana's pop-rock songs, this one actually is really unique. The synthesizer melody playing throughout helps set this song apart from the likes of "Happy Go-Round" and "Rock You Baby". In fact, I'd consider it the hybrid of "Setsuna Capacity" and "Young Alive!". If I was to say that before this song came out, I would've been incredibly intrigued, and that's exactly what listening to it makes me feel: intrigued, curious. It's not an emotive song, and it's not particularly powerful. But, it does feel experimental, and I really appreciate that. I do wish she would've saved the octave jump at the end of each chorus for the final chorus, but that's nitpicking. This is one of those great concert-ending songs like "Brand New Tops," and those don't come often. So, I really like this song, and I don't expect it to fade into the background like some other songs of its type have.
Overall, the whole single was really phenomenal, from its songs to the music video to the fantastic cover--that cover, right? It's gorgeous. If this era may not have started so strong with "Kindan no Resistance" it certainly ended with one of the most succinct and effective single releases in a long time.
