So I'm curious to see what people think about the Nana single that started it all, Omoi. How do you feel about it? Personally I like the song, it doesn't showcase the amazing vocals we'd come to see from Nana later down the road, but I don't find anything particularly bad about it and it's got a unique enough sound to remain memorable. I'd love more concert performances of it, though.

I can't reaally get into Omoi. It's an awful introduction to Nana and an awful song in general... Sorry >.< She can just do so much better.

I love that song. It's one of my favorites, though there's quite a lot of them. She sounds very mature in that song, not 20 at all. I would say it's one of those songs that aren't as appreciated as they should be. Maybe it's also because it's the debut song that dates 12 years back and only few people actually listen to the Omoi single. I mean, there are two versions of Omoi. The one on the single - that's the one I like - and another one on supersonic girl, which I don't like in particular. I can't say now what's the main difference between them, because I haven't listened to the album version for a long time.
Even though Omoi may not fully show the full power of Nana's voice, it does bring out a lot of emotions.

It's not one my favourite but I really really like it! I love the style she had back then.

Hm I can't choose from given answers... Actually I really like Omoi - it's one of my favorite slow songs, reminds me of ray of change somehow. But I can't say it's a good start - for pop debut you need something flashy and catchy which holds you and doesn't let go. And Omoi is nice for... I don't know... Sitting near the window with an absent look and thinking about eternity? =) Definitely this song is for the right mood and not many will memorize it after listening to it couple times. So not a good start IMO.
