Now that I've registered on this forum might as well ask this question that has bothered me for years now. As an amateur drummer I've always been interested in Nana's live band drummers. From them I've always liked Yutapon the best but there's also another favourite that seems to be forgotten. Can anyone tell my about their former drummer Kota Igarashi, who performed with Nana from 2004 to 2005, approximately? What is he doing now and what has he been doing during these 10 years? A couple years ago I found out he played in some band (can't remember the name) at the the end of the 90's? Were they a popular band? After all, he seems to be quite known musician in Live Rainbow Budokan DVD based on audience's reaction.

He's famous for being the drummer from JUDY AND MARY, one of Japan's most popular 90s bands who even performed in Tokyo Dome(remember when Nana performing in Tokyo Dome was a HUGE deal?). He's a support drummer for a bunch of different acts now, including Gackt and Ai Otsuka.

Sorry suomi2015, I don't understand Japanese alphabet ^^;. I only know a couple of characters, and that's sometimes a huge problem when you're trying to find out about Japanese artists. Well, thanks anyway to both of you! Maybe I should check out JUDY AND MARY. Any suggestions for the place to start? I think I listened to a few tracks a couple of years ago but apparently, they didn't leave any impression on me.

I'm not familiar with their material at all unfortunately. Maybe grab one of their best-ofs or watch their final concert tour? Those seem like good starting points, they should include all their most popular stuff.

I'd love to know why he has Akira Toriyama's bio (in french) on his biography page... xD
It's always fun to see familiar faces in a band when you're watching a concert. I recently saw Ryutan in a hitomi concert from 2005!

I've seen some of Nana's band as support members on TV shows before. I don't know any of their names though.
