He is just a guy who isn't afraid to touch the burning issues, sometimes literally. During the self introduction of the guests, when Kumai, the "nearly 180cm tall idol", greeted the viewers, Nishikawa praised her appearance and said, "Wow, you've really become mature these days". But for some reason, he said, "But it looks like you've got rough skin. Could it be that it's your menstrual period? The skin around the mouth tends to get dirty easily when you're bleeding", to which Kumai reacted by suddenly covering her mouth.majide2ch.blogspot.de/2014/02/tmr-takanori-nishikawa-verbally.html

LOL wow! That auntie picture is...shockingly accurate!
The comments are so interesting...this reminds me of Koda Kumi's amniotic fluid controversy, yet I feel like he won't see a backlash because of this. I still didn't really understand her controversy, this seems more shocking to me since it was directed at an idol, though she is 20 years old. This TV show that Morning Musume's golden era became famous on, Utaban, also roasted them pretty badly and everyone took it well since all sides benefited from it. So I think if it's made as a joke, it's somewhat okay, but if you're trying to state medical facts like you're a doctor, you're going to create a lot of controversy. I would love someone who's more familiar with taboo (no pun intended Koda fans) in Japan to educate me on this!

The years of strapping on tight pants have caught up to him. In a recent commercial T.M.Revolution’s Takanori Nishikawa sings about a delicate subject near and dear to him–jock itch.
In the lyrics for his new song, “Phantom Pain,” which he wrote specifically for the commercial, Nishikawa laments: “I want to scratch there/But I can’t.” But then, a breakthrough! “Straight to my crotch/Delicare M!” Delicare M, of course, being a topical cream for itchy groins.
Oh sure, go ahead and make fun. But we’ve all been there before. I think we should applaud Nishikawa for approaching the gig with a straight face. We’re laughing with you, not laughing at you buddy. www.mtv81.com/news/t-m-revolution-has-an-itch-that-cant-be-scratched/

www.mtv81.com/features/live-reports/vmaj-2014-j-musics-biggest-bash-an-intimate-night-of-stars/3/Finally, rising up from the center of the stage was T.M.Revolution (who also won the Best Collaboration Video, with Nana Mizuki), to close the show out with the dramatic, aiming-for-the-rafters ballad “Phantom Pain,” which allowed him to show off his vocal range. It was the sort of song that would have reached the stars at an open-air arena – but the closeness at this year’s VMAJs made it all the more special.
