Mmm quite a lot actually... I rarely like any song from the start so I usually listen to a new album for about 2-3 times in a row before making judgment. As for Nana's songs... Last one that I really hated was Discotheque - not only I didn't have it in playlist but I was also skipping it while watching concert dvds. Turned out that it wasn't actually song I didn't like but the silly unfitting dance going with it and when Nana stopped making a fool out of herself during later concerts while singing it I somehow could tolerate it and even liked it in the end. Still studio version of it sounds pretty weird -_- Also Hime Murasaki and Takaramono moved up a lot in my list lately. That's how it happened. Actually I never disliked these particular songs, I just didn't like Nana's slow songs in general. So one day I though - why don't I like them? So I made a playlist out of all her slow songs I could find and decided to listen to them for a day In the end I didn't change my opinion - most of them lacked in one way or another, but I really liked the ones I mentioned above so I started to play them more often. Be careful with that stuff ;D

There've been a lot of songs that have had to grow on me, but some of the more drastic ones would be...
Well, I didn't like Etsuraku Camellia much at first, to be honest... and now it's probably my favourite Nana song XD I mean, It didn't take long to occupy that position, but I just remember being very meh towards it on the very first listen.
I was never crazy about Tenkuu no Canaria, either - I liked it from the first listen and it was my favourite track off Mugen when it came out, but I still didn't listen to it that much... until LIVE GRACE, and it pretty much became one of my favourite Nana songs ever.

Hmm, OrcheFan immediately comes to mind. Actually, it isn't a favorite song before and I remember meh-ing at it when I first listened to it what with the rave reviews I've been reading about it. I thought it's actually not that special. Though when I read the lyrics and listened to it more, I thought it's actually not that bad. Only when I watched the live formula version did I come to know how awesome the song is. And now, I'm raving like mad for this song O(▰≧∇≦▰)O
Then there's also Shin ai, Pray and Toraware...which is the same case as Orchefan. Actually, I seem to like her songs after looping many times and watching the live with only few exceptions. But then these meh-ed songs are the ones who tend to shot up in my favorites.

I often find myself sticking to the songs that I like after the first listen, with songs that I'm ambivalent toward being put to the side. Not that I don't listen to them, I just do so very rarely. Nana has had a few songs which I've needed to 'rediscover' after a time so that I can truly enjoy them, even if they were ridiculously amazing songs to begin with.
Amusingly, PHANTOM MINDS was one that really didn't make an impression on me the first time I heard it. I had listened to the album, swiftly picking out some of my favorites, and had kind of glossed over the song, thinking it was good, but not much else. It must have been a few weeks or months later that I properly listened to it again (probably while daydreaming, to be honest XD) and was completely blown away. The power of her voice, its soaring quality at times, fitted together with how epic and energizing the song is, not to mention the slight tint of desperation in her tone, left me reeling.
Arguably, Justice to Believe and Astrogation were much the same, even if I did listen and like them from the get-go. It took a little while for me to really fall in love with the songs, to the point where they became favorites, and become interesting in Nana as a whole. I guess it was only a matter of time before her unique epic style won me though~

^ I love how you describe your reactions to Nana songs... so intenseXD But you must really love her I take it.
I've flip flopped on a few songs too... Never really thought much about Aokihikari no hate but it grew on me after LD. A lot of her ballads take a while to grow on me.

A lot of her old stuff, it was mostly lives that changed my attitude towards the songs. I don't think many of them aged well, after hearing them live I stopped letting that get in my way.

I agree with Singy.... songs like Etsuraku Camellia and Dragonia and Justice to Believe just didnt phase me...... I kept hearing people say Dragonia was like a "raw" song - her real voice 100%, and after hearing it live i totally agree, so now i love it xD Etsuraku was just weird to me at first.... oh and i hated Maria & Joker... but that song is so amazing now! Her voice goes from all quiet and mysterious to high and theatrical and then back to a good medium for the chorus...although the... Ah netsujo?bloody, hoshikatta.. kimi iro haato... i thought that was the chorus at first lol

All of the songs on my playlist, I fell in love with the first time around.
All except one. Super Generation. I was very "meh" about it when I first listened to it. Even venturing into "dislike" territory. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. Probably not top 10 for me, but top 15 for sure

sevenpetals: I wasn't too into M&J either at first... i like when Nana branches out lol trust me but it just seemed so out of place on UD and comes as a little bit of a shock to anyone used to Nana's usual style. I've learned to appreciate it though and I do enjoy it, it definitely is a stand-out track in her discography.

A lot of her old stuff, it was mostly lives that changed my attitude towards the songs. I don't think many of them aged well, after hearing them live I stopped letting that get in my way. This. It took hearing them live for me to really get into a lot of Nana's older songs, but shortly after I began to love them. That happens with newer songs too. For example, I always thought "undercover" was just an inferior song when compared to the other three songs on "Silent Bible", but after Live Grace I began to love it. "Mysterion" threw me completely off-guard, but after about 100 listens I've been able to find merit in it. When I'm feeling pumped, I listen to it. Haha. I was pretty meh on "PHANTOM MINDS" too until I actually got the CD. Hearing the radio rip, I was always just more excited for "Juujika no Spread". But now, "PHANTOM MINDS" is my 11th favorite Nana songs. Its a true favorite of mine, and it's one of the most listened-to songs in my Itunes library. Also, I paid no attention to "chronicle of sky" and "Promise on Christmas" until Live Fever and...one fateful Christmas when i decided to listen to the song with an open mind respectively. Now they're in the top 50. I used to love "Shin Ai" too; however, sadly, due to associating the song with personal experiences that occurred in my life, I can no longer listen to the song without feeling negatively. That really hurts me as a Nana fan because I know how much Nana loves that song.

Mugen is another one for me, actually. Didn't care for it when it came out, then after LIVE ACADEMY I was half-way to liking it, then after LIVE CASTLE I fell in love with it <3 Gorgeous song.
