Why do we not have an emoticon that represents us bowing to goddess Nana?
I forget how big Domes are, wiki says she's the 8th solo female to perform there. I didn't realise the amount of female soloists was that low for Tokyo Dome.
Nana, Namie Amuro, Koda Kumi, Ayumi Hamasaki, YUKI, wiki list Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson - I assume the 8 includes western soloists too.
I was about to ask, "who was the last one?" but I jokingly though, "knowing Japan, it's somebody stupid like Avril Lavigne"... and it was.
Look at that list... and then Avril Lavigne on the end. lulz.

Well, we don't have a lot of absolutely necessary emoticons =\ Plus half of those we have don't work :^^; Anyway It was talked about a lot before live hmmm... Nana missed just a little to be 7th =\ I even saw that somewhere... Was pretty boring. I couldn't endure it till the end though ;D But since she still lives I assume she didn't commit seppuku in the end and what else can be entertaining enough?

I can't read, YUKI's performance was this year, so making her #9. The missing person is MISIA. Yay, useless knowledge! No idea who beat Nana to #7, Koda Kumi or Avril Lavigne I think.
I loved Avril Lavigne when I was 11/12ish, she was my hero. Oh the shame.

Ah, Avril. I was an embarrassingly huge fan of hers too. I still don't understand why Japan adores her so much. Am I missing something?

Why the shame? She sure isn't the worst performer around and her early songs were pretty fun.
Btw to stay on topic I STILL didn't get my copies >< At least they arrived at Moscow 4 days ago, now I just have to wait for a snail to deliver them to my local post office ;D

Probably because of her whole ~punk princess~ thing with neon pink tutus and crap, the stuff that made my 13 year old self tear down my posters and rage lol Have you seen the REALLY awkward video where she meets Tomomi Itano?

*gets defensive* What's wrong with Avril?? (and Britney Spears too. I'm sure I've read somewhere about her here) Though I'm not crazy about her, I did like her during her complicated days...

Personally for me, I thought her "punk-princess" image was ridiculous and over-the-top too but I enjoyed a lot her music as a kid! She isn't terrible, but she's one of the more embarrassing artists to mention you listened to when the people you hang out with are bat-shit crazy hipsters XD
Quick side note, but should we make an Avril Lavigne topic at this point?

There is nothing wrong with Britney. Nothing. Anybody who hates Britney just doesn't know how to have fun. I don't hate Avril, just have that awkward I-used-to-love-her thing. Mainly that her music got more immature as the albums went on, rather than maturing with her fanbase. It was like she downgraded to get the next batch of up and coming 11 year olds. I think her first album is pretty good still. Anyway... this is so off topic.

^ That pretty much sums it up. I'm also in the camp of former huge Avril fans :XD She was my first live concert, my first album purchase, etc. And I STILL don't think her first two albums are that bad, but she did take a rather tasteless turn after that.
I don't think she's the most embarrassing to have liked as a kid, though. Especially not these days :whistle

Since tracklists differ so much it's basically boiling down to what songs you like... As for other differences I like queen outfit more ^^

King Night > Queen King's is more...explosive? While Queen's is tamer for me...I think it's always been like this in her 2 day lives. Kinda like Red side > Blue side; Blue Stage > Red stage; I dunno about Grace's. But generally fans tend to prefer the 2nd day. Just saying from what I've read.
Saitama > Sendai I also like Sendai but I kinda was surprised that I really like SSA when I've already watched almost all performances because of the broadcast.
I've been meaning to write a post about this in lj though I don't have enough time to cover both. And I'm too lazy anyway^^;;
