The song is good I really like the chorus and the arrangements are somewhat original but typically anisong at the same time ^^
It seems this time it will be really difficult for Nana in regard to the ranking ... A lot of major bands are going to released their single the same day as Nana ! she will probably fall under the top 3 maybe top 5 (Kanjani 8, J soul brothers, Sekai no Owari, Glay).

She'll end up at #4 then maybe #3 if Sekai no Owari doesn't do well. Glay will definitely not sell as much as her. Ugh, I hate those boybands (JE and lately EXILE too)...they always use 1000 gimmicks and 10 editions to get those sales. EXILE used to be better than that but lately they've been doing gimmicks by giving out their CD's for free with concert tickets, yet it still counts on the oricon chart as a sale... I'm going to hold back from listening!! Even though I want to listen so bad. I'm going to wait until the PV is out or the single is out/leaks. We're not too far away!

^That's a pretty dirty trick, making giveaway CDs count for the chart...

I liked the beginning, then it got anime generic fast. But i still like it more than any other Nana song since 2012. I always expect these types of singles to be filled entirely with anime genericness. Can't be too disappointed, it IS an anime song afterall. Not everything can be Scarlet Knight That said, anime generic sounding things aren't necessarily bad. There's a place for epic and novel experiences, and there's a place for things that are just fun to listen to. The song didn't WOW me, and it didn't have to. I loved listening to it

^ That's pretty much how I feel. I can't see this song transcending Nana's discography and becoming one of my all-time favourites or anything, and that chorus is pretty uninspired, but I just found it enjoyable to listen to. That arrangement made me swoon. This is what Nana does best, and the arrangement mostly kept it from falling into total genericness, so I'd count this song as a win. And after the beauty of Ai no Hoshi, I'm kind of anticipating BLUE more anyway Thanks for sharing the previews/leaks!

^ I agree with you ^^ If the arrangements wasn't like this the song would be pretty "generic" but in some way I think this song will add something to her single discography she don't have a lead single with this type of sound so I'm here for this ^^ I'm anxious for BLUE I hope it will not be an over produced ballad like Ai no Hoshi I want something more ambitious in term of arrangement for this one

^Wahhh you though Ai no Hoshi was over produced? It was orchestral and the buildup in the single version was PERFECT. It makes the song to me o.o
BLUE sounds like it will have subtle details, or maybe just even be midtempo. Its not like we are guaranteed a ballad every single. Look @ Soradokei (such an underrated song) from Starcamp EP ^_^

Agreed, there was something really majestic and magical about Ai no Hoshi's arrangement and build-up. And true, BLUE might not be a ballad, it was purely an assumption based in part on the fact that it's another Yamato song, and the only one we've got for Yamato before was a ballad, haha. Statistically speaking, I'm right on the money Hehe. Soradokei is great, by the way!

It will be a ballad Nana has made this statement on her blog a few weeks ago ^^ Yes Ai no Hoshi arrangements are nice but I'm tired of these kind of orchestral arrangement I don't find them original at all but it's just my taste =) I find her ballads like hime murasaki, Hoshizora to Tsuki to Hanabi no Shita, Heart-shaped chant, Yume no Tsuzuki, Shinai, soyo kaze ni fukarete, Soradokei or Ano Hi Yume mita negai much more interesting musically and emotionally in Ai no Hoshi or Yakusoku I don't feel emotions in her singing that's why I don't listen to them a lot
