Is the cover supposed to represent how she's (or her character) fighting with inner self? Who she actually is, and who others see her as (in the mirror), and how she has to behave in a certain way to uphold others' expectations of her.

^ I think that's just stranger's own interpretation.
It's an interesting one. I don't know if it applies to Nana or to a character (or to the Cross Ange anime), but it's certainly a valid interpretation.
The first thing it made me think of was an exiled princess reflecting on the life she used to have - something like a typical anime/JRPG plot about a kingdom being corrupted and the princess striking out on her own to save the realm (think Shining Force, FF9, Tales of the Abyss, so many more, haha), and in the process becoming tougher, more independent, and shedding that image she once upheld. No more ornamented outfits, lavish luxuries, etc. - she has to strip down to the bare essentials, arm herself, and do her best to forget about the life she once had.
Whatever the "answer" is, I love covers that can tell a story, even if only minimally. I'd love it if the PV did the same!

^I think SAI pretty much nailed it. From what we know from the PV and the synopsis from MAL it's that Ange was a princess in an utopia, but she was found out she couldn't use something called "mana" which apparently made her an outcast in exile. She then probably fought dragons and try to protect the world or something like that. The princess in the "reflections" isn't what she is, and if we look closer the mirror had been shot by a bullet, now cracked. The reflection is cracked, broken, no longer feasable. What's outside the mirror is not a princess, but a person far from luxurious, in a room full of nothing but garbage, signifying that she only lives on the bare minimum and has to fend for herself, a warrior.
Something like that. We'll have to watch the anime. Hopefully, Sunrise doesn't make it a huge letdown like Valvrave, seeing the cast list.

Haha Sai, did you mean noknuckles instead of me? I don't think I gave my interpretation, mainly because I'm uninformed here. I like the interpretations though, and agree with the sentiment about the PV story 400000%! Here's a list of the tokuten. It's the usual Bromide/postcard, of course, but she looks absolutely stunning: ameblo.jp/wushilan/entry-11927102817.htmlI like the Tower Records outfit! I'm happy with the HMV Bromide I'll be getting

stranger - Yes, sorry! I'm not sure why I'm doing such a bad job at reading things on the forum these days, haha. The preview's pretty... average? It didn't leave a huge impression on me. Maybe a longer preview will help, though.

I like it kinda reminds me of Linkage

Yep, the producer definitely went for Linkage Part 2, which was really smart. So of course I like how it sounds, especially since it's not a carbon copy (from the 15 seconds I heard anyways).
Previews for me are unreliable though. I didn't like Vitalization's preview that much, but I LOVE that song. On the other hand, Bright Stream's preview sounded so good, but now it blends into her discography to the point that I don't seek the song out on its own, unless RN is playing in my car.

Oh its quite different o.o The instrumental!! the violins + flute like thing I love it! It has a GREAT first impression... the atmosphere really LEADS to the chorus. I thought the chorus was a bit generic power pop nana, but it really fits in the song. The verses are kind of great too, and so is the post-chorus part! I'm impressed. Coming back in full force!

I liked the beginning, then it got anime generic fast. But i still like it more than any other Nana song since 2012.

I wonder how well it will sell.. hopefully 80k, sales are still getting worse and worse lol.
I wont listen to the other 2 songs till i get my copy I think. It feels like its been so long since new music from her even though it was just in April lol. Blue sounds like it will either be mid tempo or a ballad ish song and Dream Rider sounds like typical cute nana. Regardless, im stoked!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!
That beautiful folk tinge.
I'm so happy now.
I agree with you sevenpetals. I will only listen to this until I get my copy.
This song gives me that enka x nana fusion I loved about Nana. It's kind of like a Apassionato x LINKAGE. I must say, I'm really impressed this time. Hard rock x anisong x enka. As expected of Nana. Lets snag that number one on ORICON! So, since I'm not too informed on these matters, who would be releasing their single around the same time as Nana and does Nana have a chance?
