Besides her luscious voice, Nana is best known for her work as a seiyuu for multiple animes, great and small. I remember someone mentioning that they had liked Nana since Nanoha, so I thought I'd make a thread dedicated to discussing (or gushing, your choice~) about the various voice-acting jobs of this seiyuu queen and the animes associated with them.
I've only watched a bit of Nanoha really, so I don't have too much to say about it, but I loved the darker tone of Fate from the few instances I heard o her.

Ohhh a seiyuu thread! Nice~!! I first heard of Nana as a seiyuu voicing Hinata back in the days, but I didn't really pay attention to her. Along came Fate and I got to know her 'soft spoken' voice.
But between her roles in animes, Touma from Minami-ke and Alois Trancy from Kuroshitsuji are the ones I'd categorize as her best roles. You can't really recognize her voice from those two roles, she's so amazing there!

I heard Nana's voice in some anime waaaay before knowing who she was! First was her really really early role in Love Hina as Nyamo-chan (who was... mute? if I remember correctly? but she sings at one point, so I've technically had a Nana song on my computer years before I'd get into her music xD) Then as Yuufa in Ragnarok: The Animation. I wasn't particularly attached or wowed by either character, so I can't say much here ^^; Then a couple of years ago after getting into Nana's music, I watched Nanoha. I wasn't too impressed with Fate to be honest, I know it's her breakthrough role and all but I don't think it's a great show of her talent that she voiced a dark, angsty, soft-spoken preteen girl I'm currently watching Tales of Symphonia: The Animation, and hearing her as Collette is really cute, and her singing is great <3 But I always found it a little weird that someone with such a powerful voice was given such "soft" characters to play Collette, Fate, Hinata, etc... So yeah... I have nothing against her seiyuu work, but I'm honestly not particularly impressed by it - I haven't heard anything that makes me think she's better than any other seiyuu, to be honest. I'm mostly here for the music anyway. ^^;

I couldn't get into Nanoha either ;^^
I've only seen her in Tales of Symphonia, voicing my precious Colette ;__; aaaand the only other Nana anime I've seen are Darker than Black (sexy Nana voice ♥) and White Album (diva Nana ♥).
Darker than Black was the longest... I have most experience with sexy Nana ♥ Lucky me~

My friend lent me Nanoha... but it was actually the second season I was a bit lost at first, to say the least. I fell in love with Eternal Blaze but had no idea that the singer was Fate's VA hahaha. I never really paid much attention to that, but the song defenitely got me into Nana! ;D I've also seen ToS, but that time I was aware that she was Colett, lol. I loved her in that, especially the Holy Song segment ^^

Nanoha is awesome, it's like little girls military gundam xD
And I forgot she's in Ragnarok; The Animation as Yuufa. Not too impressive there, but she did sound wishy washy enough to match Yuufa's annoying personality, so I guess...a job well done?
Nana is imo one of the best seiyuu out there. She's voiced different types of characters and her voice range gives her a vast choice in roles. Like the two I pointed above, Touma and Alois, she plays as a boyish-girl and a psychotic little boy. Here's a little sample.
Touma is the blue haired girl
Alois is the blonde one
And then she played in Hell Girl as a creepy girl turned woman who's connected to Ai Enma...she never cease to amaze me with her roles.

Sadistic Nana FTW! I watched Kuroshitsuji II for the purpose of hearing sadistic Nana lol. Though I also like her role as Kotoko in ItaKiss. ^^

...Wow, she really is versatile. Her maniacal laugh in Kuroshitsuji is amazing, wonderfully creepy, but somehow very fitting with the appearance of the character xD. I really need to look up this animes now. Though has anyone heard her in Basilisk? I was wondering how she voiced the main character.

Fate <3 Fate and EB got me into Nana. Besides that, I really liked her as Ogata Rina from White Album. Anyway, her voice is very versatile and you might not even notice it's her.

Ok. Everybody on this forum watched or heard at least about Nanoha, Shugo Chara, White Album and others well-known series. So, I want to advise something not so popular. Jyu Oh Sei. Only 11-ep. series. But Nana's character is very solid and emotional. Don't want to write more - for avoiding spoilers. Watch&enjoy.

^Interesting, I've definitely never heard of that anime before (granted I'm not heavily invested in the anime scene, so that maybe isn't too surprising xD), what's the general gist of the story? Also, how do you find it differs from the her other roles?
