^ That's amaaaaazing! Very few have ever seen a live concert of her...I'm so jealous! She's one of the few musical geniuses of popular music, I only wish she was more popular here in America I would pay so much to hear The Ninth Wave (or all of Hounds of Love for that matter) performed in front of me.

The concert was definitely awesome. I can't compare it to anything but a spiritual experience. I really don't go to concerts - kind of hard to when all your faves are from the other side of the world - so it's partially just the novelty of going to one, but Morning Musume/idol concerts in general are truly truly unique experiences. There's such a frenetic, tangible energy and sense of community. On the other hand, I eat up J-pop DVDs like candy. I've watched close to 150 of them, and still have plenty to go through! So I gotta say, being at a concert is something of a sensory overload XD. I really felt like I lost myself in the moment and I think that's the kind of experience everyone needs to have. :3 On that note, that's awesome, relmy! I hope your experience was similarly fulfilling

I'm glad you had an amazing time Sai! I love that feeling of being lost in a moment too. Most of the Jpop concerts I watch are huge arenas, but I've never been to a concert that large. It's always been smaller venues. I love that community feeling too, I think it's more intense at Jrock/pop concerts but even with 'regular' artists it's the same. Everyone is so friendly, you dance together, share you're favourite songs etc... I love it. I went to see Marina and the Diamonds a few years ago and I was stood next to a guy who had been at Gackt the first time round too - that was really fun, I love finding Jpop/Jrock fans!!
Stranger - I feel SO lucky! I can't believe I managed to get a ticket. She was phenomenal. She did everything off Hounds of Love except Mother Stands for Comfort and The Big Sky! The Ninth Wave was gorgeous, done like a mini theatre piece rather than a concert. Really overwhelming, actually. I was pretty much in disbelief the whole time.

I now officially have Ayu's A ONE on pre-order and Kuu's WALK OF MY LIFE ordered! And I've not listened to any leaks or previews. April is going to be a great month.
