Albums:
5. Ieiri Leo - LEO
I liked all of Leo's singles she released before this album, but the album itself had a completely different concept. I quite liked the country style that was going on, and there were some new songs that were (are) absolutely perfect, as i constantly listen to them on repeat xD The only thing bad here was that the songs were similar to each other, perhaps a bit unoriginal. 7/10
4. fripSide - Decade
This was an album done in the commemoration of their 10th anniversary. The songs were really good, and their previous singer, nao, joined them in a few. It has a really bright, light feel to it, and i adore it
7.5/10
3. Mayumi Morinaga - Glitter
Instead of a single, which is usually released when a singer sings an anime OP/ED, an album was released for the ED of Fairy Tail. The title song is very sad and touching, and the rest of the album is done in Mayumi's usual techno-trance style. 8.5/10
2. Nana - Rockbound Neighbours
I reviewed my favourite and least favourite songs already; all i can say is that, if not for Darling Plastic and perhaps maybe Crescent Child, this would be my number 1. 9/10
1. Minori Chihara - D-FORMATION
This could very well be my favourite album of all times. I liked all songs in it to pieces, especially D-Formation (obviously). It has a really dark, surreal atmosphere, and i love it! Absolute recommendation to anyone who likes techno and/or trance (and anison, too)
1000000/10
Singles:
5. LiSA - crossing field
As the opening to Sword Art Online, it has to be rocky and upbeat. I was not surprised at all when i saw this charting for so long on Oricon. This could very well prove to be a big step up for LiSA in term of fame in the anison world. 7.5/10
4. Daisy x Daisy - Mirai Akazuki
Nana's sister has really been on a roll this year. Mika is holding to her usual rock-ish vocals, while the songs remind me of Vocaloid ones. The title song sounds like something out of Final Fantasy, while the others are mostly happy and rocky. 8.5/10
3. Ieiri Leo - Sabrina
I haven't seen a debut this good in a long time. It's a really catchy song, and i liked it on first listen. Recommended. 9/10
2. Maon Kurosaki - Hell:ium
It's a very small difference between 1st and 2nd place, mostly because i listened to number 1 for a longer time. Nevertheless, it's one of the best rock songs i have heard in a while. Recommended. 10/10
1. Nana - Synchrogazer
Epic song is epic.
PVs:
5. Nana - Synchrogazer
Awesome song, awesome music video. I was only scared a bit by that guy in black clothing O.O
7/10
4. ALI PROJECT - Kyomu Densen
The song is really bright, and the music video, even though having all the things you'd want in a standard horror movie, doesn't invoke the feelings of fright, but joy and optimism (at least for me). 8/10
3. Minori Chihara - Self Producer
I didn't like the song enough to put it in top 5 singles, but the music video is very entertaining to watch. Instead of the standard 2, there are 11 Minorins, each one in completely different clothes. I can't quite get what's going on, there's a wedding and a stage, and a policeman xD 8.5/10
2. Maon Kurosaki - Under/Shaft
This is one of the more morbid ones. It's really dark, and perfectly fits the song. There's a lot of symbolism in it, and Maon, being a model, shows her stunning beauty in this video. Recommended. 9/10
1. ALTIMA - Burst the Gravity
You'd expect the video for the opening of Accel World to have something game-related and cool, right? Well, no. xD Many people on Youtube complained about it being too immature and unrelated to the song, but i found it absolutely hillarious. It features a known Japanese comedian. Recommended x 1000 10/10
