Just in case you guys have anything to suggest to improve or change the forum, I've made this thread so you can post about it here. Try to keep suggestions fairly... realistic If there's any forum-related inquiry you have, too, feel free to post it here.

Could you maybe implement a feature that opens a small tab when you got a new PM? It's very easy to miss new messages because they only appear in that small box in the lower right corner, at least for me.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I believe there's a kind of alert system I can implement that'll give you a (non-intrusive!) pop-up whenever you get a PM - I'll look into that soon.

Everything's great so far. But do you think we should have a separate forum for Anime/Videogames instead of lumping it all into Asian pop culture? Youre call though. ^^

^ I was thinking of doing the same thing actually, so I'll make that change shortly.
The PM notifier has been implemented, btw. ;D

Is it possible to add a link for online stores to promote Nana's goods? It would be a nice way to support her if even a little. ^^

That's a good idea, I definitely think we should do that.
Actually, I think mirrorcle had a partnership deal or something with CDJapan at the last forum. Do you remember how to get that going again mirrorcle? ^^;

Sorry I haven't seen that til now. I still have a working CDJapan affiliate account so if you wanna use that for the forum just send me a PM and we can talk about details It might really be a good idea since I often have the feeling that many Nana fans do not know where to buy actual official Nana goods for normal store prices. ebay and stuff can get really expensive and there's many...fishy stores around.

Since many filehosters died lately I got an idea...should I write a guide on which hosters are still there and good? I could pick a few, write down their pros and cons...if anyone is interested, tell me

That would be really great!! Definitely interested. I'll sticky it if you want to make it in a separate thread

As you've already said, we need some posting rules to have a peaceful forum and avoid going overboard with harsh comments. We're such a small community here, we should avoid those unnecessary fights and conflicts.

You mean like a bog? Hahaha wow two laughs in one day, amazing! I just imagined what if this juicy post was read not by me but by one of my friends who report me news from imageboards. Faithful warriors of the internets would be definitely sounding an alarm and raising battle standards by now Really, "nice and peaceful" forums can be trolled by couple fat trolls I'm not even talking about full scale raid. Heated discussions are sharpening your sword and flame wars are polishing your shiny armor - how are you planning to defend your home without them? The day you put you sword away is the day you die My own equipment is in rather good shape, especially armor, so you shouldn't expect flame wars from me plus I usually play from defense and not that skilled in offense. But you can train your flaming skills on me any time Don't hesitate, our life made of conflicts and you shouldn't avoid them. Who knows when it will be knocknig on you door... Wll you jump out of the window? =)

Except that my desire to let this forum turn into one of those corners of the internet rife with flame wars? Pretty low. Seriously, look at what you're suggesting. I'll go with the 'bog', thanks. So yes, forum rules will be put up in the next few days.

You don't need rudeness to have a debate.
If you have to be rude and troll/flame to make your point, you're probably not making a very good point in the first place.
tbf, tempted to just post that Fry image right now, but like I said, I don't want to be rude to make my point.

Did I suggest anything? My point is it's hard to say what is rude and what is not. I, for example, start talking about flame war when I see nothing but swearing in caps, while other may report flame for some friendly remark like "You, dear sir, are an idiot" I just don't want to be limited in the ways I express my thoughts none of which are targeted to offend anyone but usually they somehow do it But it's suggestions thread so I should suggest something... It's not a suggestion, but we need to do something with smiles - half of them simply not working and some of those that do work add a large code line which you have to delete from post afterward - annoying... Don't know why it's happening, never seen this forum engine before. Very nice proof of my point, thank you ;D See you're already limiting yourself in expression methods thinking about "rudeness" or some other absolutely subjective thing, making your statement less interesting and convincing. I surely won't consider any picture with Fry rude... But it seems you will. Btw what stopping you? The fact that I may find your comment rude, that you may look rude to others or that you will see yourself as rude person and that's unacceptable to you?
