April is too far away, I'm already excited for the album!!
I think Fun Fun★People is a cute title (I love and hate symbols in titles haha). Ladyspiker... rock Nana? And Million Ways=One Destination could potentially be our epic Nana song (wishful thinking~).
I wonder if we'll get something 'different' like Mugen.
edit: totally missed the video with the preview of Million Ways oops... normal Nana style~

Was "Mugen" really that different? Whenever I listen to it I get "SECRET AMBITION" vibes for some reason. It feels really familiar. I feel like at this point, different would have to be reeeally different. I thought "Avalon no Oukan" was pretty different, as was "NEXT ARCADIA" at the time of its release, "Etsuraku Camellia" at the time of its release; "Synchrogazer" was pretty different. "SCOOP SCOPE" was REALLY different. But I doubt we won't be surprised by something. Yeah relmy, my heart pounds whenever I think about the album's release. Nana releases give me so much to look forward to. I love hype season

eh......i think most of Nana's songs are unique from one another, just that you think is Nana's style XD, of course some are her usual style, meaning that her original way of singing. and theres a video (if i not wrong from 水樹奈々 seven pieces) during POP MASTER rec. she said she want to try new things or something like that XD, not only this video, she did said somewhere that everytime she want to try something new

I always thought Mugen was pretty different. It's got a heavy, slower, gothic kind of feel to it. It's almost a ballad, but only really in tempo and dramatics, otherwise it's... I don't even know. But the word 'gothic' always comes to mind when I think of it. Whereas Secret Ambition is faster and more anisong-like. I agree with your other assessments, though, hotori. Avalon no Oukan was a whole new level of epic, and seemed to be a song written for and around the idea of a full orchestra, rather than being a pop song that just happens to have orchestral instruments. The others are pretty self-explanatory as well, though Synchrogazer always had a bit of Toraware no Babel in it to me, which itself had a bit of GIMMICK GAME in it

I can't read japanese. Is that album still considered an original album with all new songs? With two old songs on it, that whole thing would be rather tacky.

oh those thing in Jap i translate FATE: lyrics (作詞) : Mizuki Nana, both Composer (作曲) & Arrangement (編曲) : Suyama hayabusa(陶山 隼) Vitalization-Aufwachen Form-: lyrics (作詞) : Mizuki Nana (of course), Composer (作曲): Agematsu noriyasu (上松範康), Arrangement (編曲): Agematsu noriyasu (上松範康) & Kikuta daisuke (菊田大介) she only meant new people working on the new songs who in the world said its going to be 100% new songs...... .......

Tacky? You should see other J-pop albums, where they're basically "best-of" due to 3-4 singles + digital singles released beforehand and you get 5 new tracks. I think 11-13 new songs is basically as good as it gets, it's the length of many studio albums. And I'd rather them add on the tracks and increase the tracklist then leave them off just so they can say it's "all brand new".
Although Vitalization will almost certainly be the original version with an added on intro/outro. The part that confuses me is why they're doing that Aufwachen form again, especially since the intro to Vitalization is good and lengthy as is. Unless they do an outro. Guess we'll see!
Fate sounds promising. The last time Jun did the music composition + arrangement for Nana was the epic Astrogation.

Meh, IDC If its not "brand new" anymore. Vitalization is a great song.. As long as this does not turn into an intro (maybe a great outro this time !) haha... They revised Ai no Hoshi for harp version, and vitalization. Track list is still probably 15/16 songs, which is better than many artists these days I have a feeling Preserved Roses + Kakumei Dualism won't be on the album, but... well lets just hope im right. Maybe by brand new they meant lots of songs made by people Nana has not worked before. Oh well. The concept of brand new is not important to the album, its the music that counts.

I think gunsmithcat meant that if they went back on their word (of having entirely new songs) that it'd be tacky, not just that they're including old songs. But yeah, I don't think it was ever confirmed that they'd all be new anyway. Yay for Aufwachen form again! I'm curious to see how they change Vitalization. But I have to admit, I like this trend of "old" tracks getting new versions. Imo that's really smart, and adds value to the album. It shows consideration to the fans who buy the singles, as they're still getting something new Whoever's in charge of Nana's album production is doing it right.
