SCARLET KNIGHT all the way!! There were many a beautiful and epic song from Nana in the past year, but as far as PV, sound, symbolism and catchiness go, this song definitely takes the cake. The references to Joan of Arc would make any history lover drool out of appreciation.

I'm really torn! 2011 had few songs but most of them were really good. It came down to SCARLET KNIGHT, Unbreakable, Junketsu Paradox and ROMANCERS' NEO for me so I choose Unbreakable since it completely sticks out from those in my opinion.

Yeah, it was down to SCARLET KNIGHT and ROMANCERS' NEO for me as well, though HIGH-STEPPER and Unbreakable were high contenders too. 2011 was a good year for Nana's music, srsly :3
In the end though, I've listened to ROMANCERS' NEO more and nearly know the lyrics off by heart, so I had to go with that. It's such an epic blend of genres and the lyrics were grand.

Gotta say SCARLET KNIGHT, with that amazing PV, and after that Unbreakable and ROMANCERS NEO.
I just realized that aside from POP MASTER, all of Nana's songs in 2011 are red songs...xD

^ "Red songs"? Is there some kind of color-coding for Nana songs I'm unaware of? ^^;;;

Ah well, its more like color-coded for the lives. As in SCARLET KNIGHT would be played live along with red glow sticks and POP MASTER would be blue like in Kouhaku the other day...

I always wondered how you decide if a song is blue or red? Sometimes it's obvious from the lyrics or title, I mean noone would think of relating blue to SCARLET KNIGHT or ETERNAL BLAZE, but all the other times? Does it have to do with how...agressive a song feels maybe?

For me I usually decide it from the outfit color during live or stage light color, but I dunno how the other does it :/

Interesting, I always saw the colors but never thought there was a specific association, besides the aforementioned songs. Actually, has it always been that way? I've only seen her recent concerts, so I'm a little out of the loop unfortunately ^^;.

I think we can determine quite a few of them by looking at what was performed at Live Fighter BLUE x RED and Live Games BLUE x RED... but how they decided that from there is a mystery xD I guess yeah, it mostly has to do with the stage lighting, the "feel" of the song, and some of the obvious hints ( SCARLET KNIGHT, Aoi Iro, Dancing in the Velvet Moon, etc.) I get the feeling 7COLORS is going to be neutral though I mean, how are you supposed to assign a song with that kind of title to a side?

Maybe we're supposed to hold 7 penlights with different colors...? xD Or it's a white song, as in rainbow colors makes white in the color spectrum, so it can go to either side.
